Burning Man is an art festival held the week prior to and including Labor Day weekend in the Black Rock Desert of Nevada.
In 2008 the dates are Monday, August 25th to Monday, September 1st.

An evening of art and culture in downtown Santa Barbara. On the first Thursday of each month, participating galleries and other art-related venues will offer free access to art in a fun and social environment from 5-8 p.m. | | 4 | City of Ventura - Artwalk
A self-guided walking tour that brings together area artists, studios, galleries, downtown merchants and visitors of all ages in a celebration of visual art.
The ArtWalk spans more than ten city blocks of historic downtown Ventura plus Ventura Avenue. | | 5 | Laguna Beach Art Walk
Join member galleries throughout Laguna Beach on the First Thursday of EVERY month from 6 - 9 p.m. for a festive cultural evening.
Free shuttle to participating gallery locations starting 6:15 p.m.
at the Laguna Art Museum (corner PCH and Cliff Dr.) and Bluebird Center (1590 S. Coast Highway) Shuttles run until 8:45 p.m.

Pasadena ArtNight is an ongoing partnership among many cultural institutions and the Cultural Affairs Division of the City of Pasadena. The event is sponsored by the Pasadena Arts & Culture Commission.

Bergamot Station is Southern California's largest art gallery complex and cultural center, located on eight acres in the heart of Santa Monica features contemporary art galleries, The Santa Monica Museum of Art, architecture and design firms, a cafe, and a frame shop.
Opening receptions for shows and receptions are coordinated for the complex frequently on the first Saturday of the month. |
