Subject:	I need a sponsor
Message:	I am a Russian painter working in the surrealistic and realistic directions, incl. drawing portraits from nature and photos. I live in the town of Orel. Last year I was invited to the 4th International Biennal of Contemporary Art in Florence, Italy. The Florence Biennal is recognized by the United Nations as an official partner in the program “Dialogue among Nations”. The artist`s share to be paid by the artist to the Biennal is Euro 2100, and there are also expenses for shipping, trip and subsistence in Florence. The Organizing Body of the Biennal recommends the artists to seek sponsors. It is said in the “General Regulations”: “For that purpose the artist can request a personalized invitation or formal request to be sent from Arte Studio /The organizing Body/ to the cultural agencies or other possible sponsors… The Biennal appreciates the collaboration and contribution of private and public sponsors and publishes their names in the first pages of the general catalogue and in the Web site.” As I could not find a sponsor in Russia last year I did not therefore participate in the Biennal 2003. This year I again received an invitation to the Biennal (The 5th Biennal 2005), and again there is a problem of finding a sponsor. I also have a general need of a sponsor and of contacts with professionals and amateurs who like my works. I should like to get an advice on where in the Internet I can send, without paying money, other images of my pictures and how to sell them, incl. replicas with possible changes.
