Message:I was very excited to see the posting regarding "Paintings By Michele". I have four 8 x 10 reproductions that I have had since the late 1970s. They were purchased in an envelope labeled in the upper left "Award Winning Michele Paintings". They are of: A clown sitting on what looks like a toy fire engine; A smiling clown with a green hat, green bow, red hair; A police officer clown with a blue hat; and a sad clown with a blue bowler and large collar on his white shirt. Each is signed "Michele" in the lower left corner, and each is trimmed in gold to give the appearance of matting. I can't remember where I got them, but would love to know anything about these that you can tell me. They are truly incredible - I can only imagine what the originals were like - gorgeous, vivid colors. Thanking you in advance for your time.
