Subject:Need Advice on how to price my Paintings
Message:I am new to selling my work as a professional.  Up to this point I have sold it to memebers of my Synagogue or friends or friends of their friends.  Two woman who have been art teachers for years have looked at my art and said I am totally under charging for my work, but they of course didn't have time to put a price tag on all my (huge collection) of artwork to be sold.  I try looking at others stuff and it is such a differet style--and usually bigger.  Does anyone wish to help me get a feeling fot this.  One teacher said my art will sell better if I price it better--even if that means "Higher."  She said the buyers wont take me seriously if I don't take "me" seriously.  Pricing too low indicates I don't take my art serously.
