Message:	An exhibition of paintings & mixed media by Jason Beale at Wall Gallery, 115 Union Rd, Ascot Vale, Victoria 3032 Australia http://www.wallgallery.com.au Exhibition dates: 26 June – 17 July 2004   Exhibition opening - Friday 25 June 6.30-8.30pm From the sidewalk the urban scene is a palimpsest of forms, of elements that jostle, conceal, and erase each other. This landscape is at once an enigmatic puzzle that surrounds us, and a vibrant field of meaning constructed from facets of our own thoughts and feelings. In this exhibition I use a poetry of hybrid abstract forms and compositional devices, to evoke and explore our ambiguous relationship to this strange place we call home.
