Message: | Don't miss William Kentridge: 7 Fragments for Georges Méliès at MOCA Pacific Design Center. Opening December 11, this exciting film and video installation captures the South African artist in a series of humorous and improbable interactions with his own drawings. Attend William Kentridge's Art Talk presented by Gallery C, which will take place on the opening day.
Experiment with modes of perception with Ecstasy: In and About Altered States at The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA through February 20, and visit five exceptional exhibitions simultaneously on view at MOCA Grand Avenue. Attend artist Jennifer Bornstein's Art Talk presented by Gallery C, and experience Andrea Fraser's performance of Official Welcome, followed by her book launch in the MOCA Store.

PERFORMANCE AND BOOK LAUNCH BY ANDREA FRASER
MOCA and New York-based artist Andrea Fraser will celebrate the launch of Fraser's new book Museum Highlights: The Writings of Andrea Fraser (The MIT Press) with a performance of Fraser's Official Welcome (2001). Edited by Alexander Alberro and with a foreword by Pierre Bourdieu, Museum Highlights collects texts and performance scripts written by Fraser between 1985 and 2003. The performance will take place at 6:30pm and will be followed by the book launch in the MOCA Store.
