Message: | I bought a 9"x12" painting from Robert Lebron in 1982 depicting: A fishing village with 5 buildings shown. l to r wooden house, stone house, wooden house, large stone house with 4 chimeys and a white church with a slender steeple.
These houses front a waterway with a road separating them from the water. The roadway is perhaps 6- feet above the surface of the water and has a stone wall retaining it. In the water and on the left is a fishing vessel with its bow facing right. Along side it is a fisherman in a dinghy. On the right is an anchored black hulled sailing vessel, bow facing left. A white stripe bisects the black hull between the waterline and the deck.
I would like to know when this was painted, if it was ever cataloged and what its value might be. |
