My name is Mayuir Sidhpara. I am a third year University degree student at the TIC in the UK. I would appreciate if you were able to provide some information on this subject or even shed some light on this topic as your knowledge and experience will be of great use to my project.
A BRIEF OUTLINE OF MY PROJECT
For my project, I will be investigating into how multimedia (digital/computer-related) can assist in the production of art, specifically interactive multimedia installations. As part of this process I will be looking into technologies such as authorware, lightwave, 3D Studio Max, director, flash, xml, asp, databases - access, oracle, after effects, php, photoshop, illustrator, premier, avid xpress DV, sound forge, dreamweaver, fireworks, etc
I will be comparing and contrasting traditional techniques with those employed by multimedia artists, in order to quantify the contribution that technology has made to the work of arts.
This project will last up to 10 months. I would certainly appreciate your co-operation throughout the project lifespan. If you would prefer to opt out then that's not a problem, please let know.
All artists that are taking part will be credited accordingly within the report.
