Message:Hi everyone.

My name is Kathy and I'm a visual arts studies student from Cardijn College in South Australia.

For my student choice topic I have chosen to study biological art focusing particularly on the ethics of the use, and manipulation of life forms.

I was wondering if anyone has any comments about the following:
'What is art?"
"Does art need to have an aesthetic value?"
"Is the genetic manipulation of life forms in the name of art inethical?"

I was also wondering to anyone who knows anyone who works in the following areas, could you maybe direct me to them via e-mail or website.
- medical illustration
- medical photography
- biological art in general

Any help would be appreciated! thanks a bunch!!!! :)
